Service Description

A 50-minute, one-on-one therapy session with Maria Waris Nawaz, Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA), at our Ramsgate clinic in Southern Sydney. Sessions are structured, evidence-based, and tailored to your goals. Maria draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to help you work through anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, life transitions, and more. What to expect: Each session is focused and goal-directed. You won't spend sessions talking without direction — Maria works with you to understand what's happening, build practical skills, and track your progress over time. Progress varies. We review your needs and goals together and adjust your plan as you go. What's included: • 50-minute 1-on-1 session in our Ramsgate clinic • Written session summary delivered after each session • Access to your personalised resource library • Between-session check-ins by arrangement for active clients • Free GP letters and school/work documentation when needed • Progress tracking with validated outcome measures (DASS-21, GAD-7, PHQ-9) Fit guarantee: If after your first full session you decide JAZE isn't the right fit, the session is free. Fees: $280 per 50-minute session. Medicare rebates may be available with a valid GP Mental Health Treatment Plan, subject to eligibility. Confirm the current rebate and your out-of-pocket cost before booking. To access Medicare rebates, ask your GP for a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan before your first appointment. In-clinic sessions available Monday to Friday until 3 PM. For evening and weekend sessions, please book our Telehealth · After-Hours & Weekends service ($310).
